Skiing the Alps is a big deal, but what about snowboarding?
A new study finds that snowboarders can do just as well on the slopes as skiing.
The study published in the journal Climatic Change found that skiers, snowboardists, and mountaineers performed similarly on the two types of snow.
And, if you don’t know how to ski, you can still learn how to skate.
“Snowboarders, skiers and mountainers were all able to perform equally well on their ski courses compared to their snowboard courses on the same day, even though they had significantly different types of equipment,” said lead author Dr. Matthew M. Hagerstrom, of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of California, Davis.
The findings are based on data collected over more than 30 years and include both snowboard and ski courses.
The authors found that the average ski course snowboarder performed better than the average snowboard rider on slopes where the terrain was relatively flat and groomed.
“There was no difference in performance between ski and snowboard instructors at different slopes,” Hagersten said.
“But on groomed snow, snowboarding instructors were able to outperform ski instructors by a few percentage points.”
So, what is the difference between a ski course and a snowboard course?
The snowboard instructor is typically trained by an instructor with experience in snowboarding and snowshoeing, whereas the ski instructor usually skis and is not an experienced snowboard or ski instructor.
“It’s a combination of experience, technique, and skills that make snowboarding, snowshoes, and snowboards special,” Haggerstrom said.
The researchers found that snowboarding instructor instructors were more likely to use the technique to control the snow and have the ability to perform tricks and tricks that require some sort of equipment to achieve the desired result.
“This suggests that the skills needed to master the skills necessary to perform the skill are more important than the skills required to train,” Haggstrom said, adding that this may be due to the fact that snow and snowboarding are different activities.
So, if there are any tricks you want to learn, it’s likely that you need to train for them first.
The next step is to compare the results of the snowboard/snowboard instructors and ski instructors.
“Our study demonstrates that the differences in snowboard performance between snowboard classes and ski classes are relatively small and do not result from any additional equipment,” Hangerstrom said of the results.
“The differences in ski course performance between classes were small and only resulted from an increased skill set needed to train and perform the skills.
The ski instructors did not need any additional training to train effectively.”
This is important to note, Hagerstroth said.
He added that it’s important to keep in mind that training snowboarding is not a simple process.
“Many of the skills you need for snowboarding or snowshod are developed over a lifetime, and it is important that you get them right the first time,” Haganstrom said in an email to CNN.
“Some of these skills require more training than others, and the first thing to do when you start training for a skill is to do the training.”
For instance, if your goal is to become a ski instructor, you may want to take the skills from ski courses to snowboard, which may take some time.
But, you don’st need to take all of the training courses from ski schools and ski mountains.
The point is to train the skills quickly, but there are also opportunities to take your snowboard training to the next level.
For instance if you’re new to snowboarding on a snow course, you might want to get some new tricks.
Haggerstroth explained that snowboards, snow-shoes and snow-boarding are all similar to each other in that they require a combination skill set, but snowboarding has been a popular sport for a while and snow skateboards have become a big part of the sport.
The difference between snowboarding in the U.S. and other countries is that the sport is regulated, whereas snowboarding here is not.
This is a good thing, as it means that you can learn a skill quickly, which is good for your overall health.
“You can learn all of these new skills in less time and get them to your next level faster, and that’s a good reason to train to get stronger,” Hagestrom said about the sport in general.
“I think the good news is that people can learn snowboarding to the same degree, and they can even learn the skills they need to get strong in the sport.”
