The snow is coming.
It’s coming fast.
That’s the message from the Big Sur Big Bear Resort and its staff.
The resort opened in May 2019 and is now home to about 5,000 people.
And the ski season is heating up.
There’s a lot of snow in Big Sur, but the ski area is also gearing up for winter skiing, especially in the Alpine area.
Big Sur is the latest resort to open in a drought-ravaged part of the state.
It was the first Big Sur resort to take advantage of the drought-relief measures.
“It’s a big, big deal, because we’re in a good position to make that a big part of our year,” said Chris Woodman, the CEO of Big Sur Ski and Snowboard.
Woodman says the ski industry is booming.
Big Surf and Big Sur are the first resorts to open.
It started in Big Bear, which is about 90 minutes north of downtown Los Angeles, and has more than 10,000 skiers and snowboarders in its lineup.
Woodson says it’s not just the resort that’s expanding, but also the industry.
“We’re seeing a resurgence of our business, and a new wave of businesses that are coming to us,” Woodson said.
“As we move into the winter, we’re anticipating that there’s going to be a lot less competition in Big Spring for jobs and opportunities for young people to come here and get work, and to learn,” Woodman said. “
But there’s a catch. “
As we move into the winter, we’re anticipating that there’s going to be a lot less competition in Big Spring for jobs and opportunities for young people to come here and get work, and to learn,” Woodman said.
But there’s a catch.
Snow in the mountains is so hard to come by.
The National Weather Service is predicting a lot snow in winter.
Woodmans forecast the snowfall in Big Summer will be much worse, but not impossible.
The mountain is forecast to have an average of 8 inches of snow per day.
That can be a big deal for people who are accustomed to snow on their ski boots.
“If you’ve been skiing and snowboarding all your life, it’s tough to come into the Big Springs area and have no boots on, and not have the snow,” Woodmans said.
It will be another tough day at the ski resort, especially for some of the kids.
Woodton says they are looking to provide a safe environment for everyone.
“The kids have to have fun, and I think that’s one of the biggest things that we’re going to focus on this year,” Woodton said.
The Big Sur ski area also is going to open to the public on Sunday.
It is one of several major ski resorts in the area, and Woodman is hoping to open up the ski-only area.
“There’s a whole bunch of really talented people here,” Woodmon said.
In addition to the snow, Big Sur has a new spa and fitness center, as well as a new playground and sports field.
“For me personally, I think it’s a really fun thing to see a resort like this open up and have the opportunity to get in the snow with our guests, and see what it’s like to ski in a real ski area, where there’s no ski pads, no snow machines, and there’s snow in all of the mountains,” Woodsmith said.
Woodon says the resort has a very unique snowmobile park and is working to create a snowmobile trails in the mountain.
